The College of Human Environmental Sciences is partnering with the Barron’s in Education Program to offer its students, faculty and staff digital subscriptions to Barron’s online content thanks to the generosity of Hudock Capital Group, LLC. Michael Hudock Jr., Founding Partner and President of HCG, is a gracious supporter of experiential learning opportunities at our college and a 2001 graduate of CHES where he completed a degree in the Department of Consumer Sciences.

This gift will add yet another transformative experience for CHES students that goes beyond the classroom. It will help us meet joint CHES and UA goals of offering a premier education with a global perspective and providing distinctive co-curricular programs to students.

The Barron’s in Education Program provides in-depth analysis and commentary on financial markets, updated every business day online. In addition to the digital subscription, the program also offers access to guest speakers and webinars, connections with corporate recruiters, and opportunities for students to tour corporate headquarters. The program is intended to spur educational growth by connecting real-world analysis to textbook theory, foster professional growth by exposing students to a wide range of careers in global business, and share knowledge from the world’s top financial professionals.

CHES students, faculty and staff who are interested in accessing Barron’s through this subscription need to register at Barron’s. After registering, users can access subscription content directly through the Barron’s website.
