    Please upload an unofficial transcript for any institution of higher education at which you have completed 15 or more credit hours. Official transcripts must be received prior to registering for classes. International applicants: please make sure that your transcript includes a grading scheme. All others: please include a grading scheme if your university does not use a letter-based (e.g. A, A-, B) grading scheme.

    Graduate Admission Test Scores
    NOTE: During the COVID-19 crisis, admission test scores are not required for students applying for spring, summer, and fall 2021 admission. Unofficial GRE or MAT scores required. Official scores must be submitted on admission (GRE School Code: 1830).

    English Proficiency Test
    NOTE: During the COVID-19 crisis we are accepting Duolingo scores (minimum of 105 for regular admission). Non-native speakers are required to submit unofficial TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores (official scores are submitted on admission) unless they meet at least one of the following criteria: 1) at the time of initial enrollment, they will hold a degree from a U.S. institution or an institution in one of the English speaking countries or regions in the link below; 2) at the time of initial enrollment, they will have been enrolled in coursework for at least two years at a U.S. institution or an institution in one of the English speaking countries or regions in the link below; 3) they are a citizen or legal resident of one of the English speaking countries or regions in the link below. https://graduate.ua.edu/prospective-students/international-admissions/
